Yay Heather and yay VQW!!
For the first time in a long time, I will be able to at least play with fabric. My second cataract surgery will be Friday but I'm expecting it to go as easily as the last time -- and that brought back quite a bit of vision for me. I will still have to heal up for quite some time (2 months?? -- they haven't said definitively) before I can wear my specialty contacts but what I have now is such an improvement from a month ago that I am much more functional.
So the big thing for me this VQW will be to commit to fabric for the Bonnie Hunter mystery this year and cleaning off my sewing table in preparation. Yuck. I wish I was better at that sort of chore. I could make wonderful progress in 15 minutes, but my attention cycle seems to be working more in 30 seconds or less. Still, if I get enough of those done maybe it will be better??
