I'm going to jump into this year's mystery. Hello everyone!! It will be my fifth, with the last completed quilt being Rhododendron Trail. It's been just over two years since we made our big move from the northeast to the south and I "think" I may be able to participate. Even if I don't, I always having fun following along! I mostly depleted my stash of melon/coral fabric with On Ringo Lake. I have an okay amount of the teal, red and neutrals. Since the finished size of Old Town is square, I'll likely go a bit smaller, maybe at 3/4th size and use as a wall hanging. I "discovered" in my stash, a smaller-than-a fat-quarter piece that has a color combo that I like. Not sure where this piece fabric came from, but probably a fellow guild member's toss-away, LOL! Anyway, I think I like the gold in place of the melon. I'm attaching a photo of it with the color cards on top. Still playing around with what I have....and having fun! The goal this year is to really, really, really not buy any new fabric. I really mean it...really. ! When we moved, I gave away two full carloads of fabric. I didn't realize how much I had tucked here and there until it was time to pack it all up. Even if I don't keep up, I'm looking forward to this year's mystery and enjoying the journey with all of you!
