I was gifted with a Featherweight 221 and it came with 2 different sizes of bobbins and bobbin cases. Didn't think anything about it as I'm not real familiar with the 221 but I wanted to try it out so I filled the larger bobbin with white thread but when I went to put it into the machine with the larger bobbin case, no such luck. So I'm thinking the gal that had this machine before me was screwed when ordering it from somewhere other than the Singer Featherweight store online.

I'd ordered some bobbins from Walmart's online. They claimed the bobbins fit the 221 but when I got them, they were the same larger size as I already had so that's why I'm thinking the gal got screwed thinking the same as I did. I did take the bobbins back to Walmart and explained to them that their website is offering misguided items.

I then searched online and found the Featherweight site and searched thru there. Found my bobbins at a even less price than Walmart with no shipping fee. Boy was I surprised. I received my bobbins this past Saturday and yes, they are the correct ones so now I have 10 more bobbins to use on this precious machine.
