So many plans and so little time. Do save time to enjoy the Thanksgiving time. I had breakfast with my daughter for her birthday yesterday and no invitation to join her family for the holiday.

So I sent a quick text to my niece and I will be joining my extending family for turkey, food, more food and lots of chatter. Michigan is supposed to get some snow tomorrow but I should be on my way home before it begins to pile up. I am driving about an hour away and know the roads well. There is a slim chance my Indiana daughter may be coming to join me, but she was just here early in November so wisdom and the opportunity to work the day after Thanksgiving are part of her decision making.
My grands are coming over on Friday to put up the tree and to decorate the house, make pizza and likely watch a holiday movie together. Dear son-in-law will be helping me with some tech problems while the grands are working on the tree. I lost access to some of the Microsoft features. This is his career and although he doesn't laugh at my incompetence, he does smile a lot at what I just don't understand. Another part of the generation gap showing. He is computers and I know enough to function well but lacking in confidence. Glad to have him close by.
Saturday is my quilt group's regular work day and I will be finishing up something so I can move on to the Boom Blocks. Fingers crossed for lots of progress.
Have a sweet and peaceful holiday everyone.
