Well, received some news today. I’m going to need knee surgery as all efforts with meds, pt and injections did not help the meniscus tears. It’s not unexpected. At least it’s arthroscopic surgery, minimally invasive. Recovery will be 6-8 weeks. Nothing is scheduled yet but I’m hoping this will not mess with the next Boom. Don’t know how I feel about the surgery. Partially relieved that I’ll get the chance at solving the problem or worried about the recovery and the PT involved in it. Uggg. Has anyone had meniscus surgery done?
