This is the same plan, to cut the rough edges of the tears. Doc said it should actually take about 15 minutes outpatient. I’ll be good to go in a few hours. Crutches will be necessary for the first few days but then I’ll be putting weight on it and having PT. Doesn’t sound too bad. Guess I’ll find out. But main question is…when can I sew??? lol.

Janice, the one person I knew who had meniscus surgery recovered very quickly and well. In his case, they also did it arthroscopically, and trimmed off the jagged parts of the meniscus tears. He was good to go after that (and PT and time). I believe you will do great with that surgery, too.
