We did the Barn Star Sampler last year, but I have to say that, while I finished mine, I really didn't like the book's author's directions. There were just too many cutoffs when regular rotary cutting would have worked just as well. This time Aby is going back to creating her own block patterns, and I have found them to be really well written in the past.
