What is your favorite Christmas cookie? I don’t think I could pick a favorite

We had a light dusting of snow. Our lower level always stays pretty darn chilly, hubby who would prefer to wear shorts his entire life is in sweat pants, warm slippers and a heavy fleece sweater. I’m upstairs baking wearing shorts and sleeveless shirt sweating away.

Made snickerdoodles for the first time and boy are they yummy. When oven cools enough going to make the pretzels, with a Rollo and pecan on top and might frost the cookies I need to mail. The containers to mail are darn near full. We might have to brave the cold on Friday and drive to the town about 20 minutes to mail them from the hardware store. UPS ground is much more reasonable on heavier packages then USPS.

Still hoping I have time to sew my grandson some hot pads. He loves to cook and enjoys the oversized pads I make him.
Have any of you heard of Cookie butter? It is like peanut butter in a jar? Tyler said he is into it big time and I ordered one online for him. Hoping he will give me a taste when he opens it up on Christmas Eve.

Our very good friend who has been fighting cancer and had the life changing Whipple surgery stopped by today. Oh my gosh he looks so much better. His is still way too thin but no longer pasty white. He has been declared cancer free of the Thryroid and pancreas. Now he will once again be starting chemo to try and beat his last major obstacle of Leukemia. So thankful for his good attitude and his tenacious grit in fighting for his health.

Thx. for the break, now back to the kitchen
