Morning all. 20s here but warning up to 40 today. Terriamn, I know those Rolo Pretzels well. So easy and delish!

I just realized I never put together a lap quilt for DH and now he’s going to be around until Christmas so there’s little chance of quilting it without him seeing it. Well, that’s not quite true. If he gets involved watching a football game I’ll have a few hours. But I have a question for those of you who work with minky type backings. How would you do it? I didn’t realize how slippery it is! I’ve got a pieced flannel top, no batting, and I realize it’s going to be a challenge to keep it from slipping. Spray baste seems like a good option with some pins for added security. I’ll be straight line quilting it vertically and horizontally. I’m assuming a walking foot would be best. Any and all suggestions appreciated!!!

Have a coffee “date” with some ladies but that’s my last function until after the holidays. I’m not used to going here and there several times a week so being home almost everyday for a couple of weeks sounds marvelous.

Hope you all have a good day. The weekend is coming!
