One of the things I have learned about my new house and sewing room is I need a space heater! Was thinking of maybe starting a thread on the subject. I know I was in Costco the other week and walked by something that was working amazingly well.

My vision is improving but is still not corrected, I have another appointment now on Jan 3 (with a new specialist) to discuss my contacts. Still, improved is good enough to do a bit of sewing. I call this state "almost seeing" which is better than the legally blind I was a couple of months ago.
So for me this weekend will be about the Bonnie Hunter project, I will have plenty to do. I am current (or at least cut and sewn) up to the Clue 4 which will be released today. I still have a whole bunch (over a hundred) of tiny little 4-patches to press.
Feels good (if you disregard the freezing) to be in the sewing room again! Snowed yesterday and is pretty. My mother-in-law is not doing well and husband is taking day off work to drive to Grand Rapids (about 5 hours away) to see her because next possible chance won't be until January. Her health has been declining rapidly over the last year and time is running out
I will stay home and take care of the dogs while he visits.
