I was gifted a sack of quilt scraps.. strip quilt someone had cut the pieces they wanted and it was the 'toss' away parts that my pal said.. hey your good you can do something with these! I thought.. like WHAT? Well I made this little scrappy angel/fairy and named her after my friend. I did not have hair so I used poly fill. A gray haired fairy? I tried dying the poly with coffee and with tea neither of which stuck at all. So I brushed her hair with my blusher and well.. a pink haired angel/fairy! Maybe a Christmas ornament in the making. She is about 4 inches long.
