I am going ahead with my wrong cut HST. I used to worry a lot more about grain but then never really noticed much issue when fussy cutting. Tell you what, it is sure fast and easy right now and I can probably handle some fiddling on another round. But it will be a good learning lesson, already knowing what I did wrong -- now I'll know if I can let this sort of thing slip by or not.
If I do have problems, I would think this would be a time to consider starch? I usually don't (like haven't in 30 or so years). I do crisp iron, stack neatly, pin and let my machine do the work (instead of pulling on it)
