So far exactly what I have expected, no sewing.
I was requested this morning to make cookies for DH to bring to the youth group Christmas party tonight. Two batches of gluten free cookies!
I don't normally bake gluten free since my friend who was GF passed away this past spring. So, a not so quick trip to the store to get ingredients, then I find out when we get back that he wants to bake quick bread first.
Not enough time to sew so I help him a bit then hide in the sewing room to catch up on what you were doing this morning. It's 5:30pm and he is out the door with 2 trays of cookies and bread, and I need to clean up the kitchen after all the cooking.
With luck I can get some hand stitching done tonight???
