I take notes on YT videos. Just sharing my notes. I need to purchase new towels. None in the house were "new" looking enough to make these, but I do love them.
Hanging tea towels

Fold in half lengthwise. Cut into 2 pieces.
Mark center of cut edge. Then 4” away, then 3” on each side.
Fold/pleat 4” mark to center. Press
Fold ends toward center and press.
Secure with clips and turn over.
Cut fabric 15x7”; fold lengthwise in half and notch center
Band: 8x7.5”; crease center-fold ends to center then again; Embellish if wanted; topstitch top & bottom edge
Place band on top half of fabric at center mark-sew a holding stitch
Then tightly fold one edge, including band, down and sew ½” SA just past band-Repeat on other edge
Open and center towel right side up on right side of fabric ;stitch across
Roll up towel to pull other side of fabric to top; stitch across ½” SA
Fold ½” SA at each top edge and tack
Pull out towel and turn fabric
Crease side seam areas
Flip band to front
Begin under band at center to topstitch fabric (which closes side openings)
Flip band to back
To hang:
With the band at the back, fold it over bar and thread towel through band
To remove:
Pull down on band
