Good morning. Happy New Year’s Eve. Today is DGD’s fifth birthday. How did that happen so fast?
SBG, hoping you get answers about your hand next week. It’s always difficult to be patient when it’s something important. I’m still waiting on a surgery date for my knee. Patience may be a virtue but it’s challenging.
Been busy working on my color blocks in addition to the square in a square. Planned to go to my LQS for more b/w fabrics but they’re closed until the 2nd so I needed something else to do. Am using my candy squares.
Today I’ll make collards. Super easy and delish, they’re a New Year’s tradition in the south. Don’t know how I lived my life without them until we moved to GA from CA eons ago. Will try to stay awake to ring in the New Year but knowing me, I’ll conk out by 10. lol. Do you all have any special traditions for the New Year?
