While I do have all sorts of things bookmarked on line, I still keep a physical notebook, a one-two inch 3 ring binder and use it until it is full maybe each year for the small size, some years are less active.... Most of what I do is more or less original, or at least not from a pattern so I don't have to worry about those. Typically I need to buy a new filler of graph paper about every year (50 pages) and I sketch out things, and I put my Bonnie Hunter mystery printed clues in there, as well printouts of other projects. When I make templates or other tools to help me trim, I will put those in a ziploc baggy and punch that into the notebook as well. Beats my old desk drawer/file folder methods of trying to save helpful things. Think I'm at my 4th or 5th notebook? This year is bright pink and easy to see
Sometimes I go a bit farther in design and do something in Electric Quilt. I've found it's good for me to put a hard copy in my notebook as I rather got out of the habit of using the software, even though I played with it a lot for years.
