Any ideas on a lap quilt?
My husband's Pain Management Doctor is retiring at the end of April. She has breast cancer and wants to slow down and enjoy the time she has left. We didn't pry into her illness, it wasn't our place to ask such personal questions. On our way home we were still in shock, talked about giving her a gift for all she has done for us and let her know we care for her. So we decided that I make her a lap quilt (my husband loves my creative works) to curl up with on the sofa with.
Here is what I have to work with...
Before I sold my AqquQuilt system I took a ton of my oddly cut fabrics and made rectangles, 3" and 4" squares I have a few triangles in there too. All different types of fabric flannel cotton denim. I am leaning towards a scrappy type quilt with all the shapes incorporated.
What do y'all think? I value all your opinions very much so shout the ideas out!
