I've always used the Micron Pigma pens - mainly black - for quite a while. I have given away all the projects I labeled, so I don't really know how well they hold up with multiple washings. After reading that they can fade, I did start using Faber-Castell artist pens in black. No matter what I use, I do heat-set what I write on prewashed fabric. I should do a comparison test someday, but I doubt that I'll ever get around to it!
