I suggest something soft and feminine. I would not include denim in this one. I have no suggestions for a pattern but I will comment that I have a friend who has had breast surgery. She was very firm in stating she didn't want anything with the pink ribbon on it. She had a reminder every time she looked in the mirror and that was more than enough for her.
