Carol in WI, I've been able to play with my blocks a bit and think it works pretty good with no sashing and can make a better size for some people. For me though -- I made the sashing units and I will use them, and even made the project bigger and not smaller. Sometimes I think about my past decisions...
Stitches23, so sorry for your loss. I have a lot of thoughts of my mother in law in the project, and they are all good. I hope you find some comfort in some manner.
Jeannie and others -- I felt earlier that I was really the only one whining about 4-patches and such. Misery loves company and I'm glad to hear negative comments from others...
Is cold outside and so downstairs again but I got all the points on my pointy pieces (prisms) for the sashing on one side. Am about halfway through getting the other side done but once again, even with the heater on I came upstairs for warming up and fresh tea. Other than the cold, the latest northeast storm front misses us. We are hearing from friends and family back in the Pacific Northwest about their snow and such as well.
