I am done piecing my pointy prisms. I still have just less than half of them to do the final trim and press on the 2nd seam but that's pretty easy. But once again I was at a good stopping point and needed a warm up and a fresh cup of coffee.
I added un-needed complexity to this step and layout. More and more I am convinced that I would be as happy or maybe even more happy if I used just one fabric for the sashing. And as Bonnie does, random neutrals. Still don't like the tiny goose units but still going to use them!
Last year for Indigo Way I did a lot of layout on the floor. Just not up to that down this year -- oof! Hubby is still working the late shift to help the new guy and it really throws off my timing. I am at my best in the mornings, but I will hope to have enough energy to do layout stuff in the afternoon when I can use the bed as my design wall.
