Here’s a block for SBG. It’s an Aunt Eliza block. It’s one of my favorite stars and built on a diagonal. Exactly the kind of block I fret about but it turned out practically perfect in size. Phew! What a relief. In the pic the dark looks almost black but it is deep purple, a good match for that in your fabric. The colors are off in my pic. Hope you like it, SBG.

Have a good evening.
Beautiful block for SBG, I clearly see the purple in the block. It is great

You rock!
This is my favorite group as I feel these ladies are my close friends. With all the chit-chat I have grown to know these ladies and their families. I just want to wrap them in Hugs.

Alida is so cute, precious picture. Thank you for sharing. We all need a little sunshine.

Janice, good to hear that Ernie is back to being himself today! Your blocks are a wonderful start to the swap too!

Not much news quilty on my end. I'm still just slowly making my blocks for the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt. I nearly got sucked into another quilt pattern (squirrel!) but I resisted for now! I am really looking forward to the fabrics arriving so that we can start playing!
NZquilter, you made me laugh out loud with the (squirrel ) comment. I find myself doing this often.

I got two blocks made today and must apologize to TG. BurgSur is short for Burgoyne Surrounded, a really cool quilt block. Here are the two, if you'd like to see them. They aren't all that beautiful by themselves, but all together with 20 or so others will look great, I hope!
Love these blocks, you will have to show us the finished quilt when you get done.

sorry to hear you are not feeling well TG. Get better soon and drink lots of fluids

Janice, all your blocks have been stunning so far. Can't wait to get our fabrics to play with

The packages are almost ready. I worked on getting those who are playing with two sets into a single package and succeeded. (More money for fabric!). Now to finish up the rest and they’ll be off tomorrow. I think this may be one of the most colorful sets of fabrics we’ve had. It’s been a pleasure working with them.

Terriamn, so funny. Guess that iron is finished.

Ernie just ran for the door to be let out. When he came back in he strutted to the bedroom to go back to bed. I think I’ll follow his example.

Have a good day!
Sorry to hear you are not feeling well either. get better soon

The second is the Spring Boom 31 in its 80% finished state. It is currently 52 X 66 and I need to expand it closer to 70 X 90. Thinking narrow scrappy sashing followed by a black or cream border all around and then perhaps some sort of HST or suddo flying geese top and bottom with another black or cream border to add length. I have less than a fat quarter of the focus fabric left so I have to use it sparingly. Suggestions are welcome. This will be donated to a hospice center.

The Boom quilt is much brighter than in the photo. The light bleached out the colors significantly.

How is everyone feeling after this snuffly day? And Janice, your appointment? Was it with your surgeon? I have lost track. OOPS!
WMUteach, these quilts are stunning, both of them.

Ready for F8s!

WMUT, what a darling baby quilt. The quilting is cute too! Lovely gift. And the boom quilt looks good. I think I made two blocks in that quilt.

Here, at last, is my first Bee quilt. I love how it turned out. Stole the setting design from NZQ. If you don't see your block, it's because it's in the second quilt, soon to be quilted and finished. Good job, everyone. Someone is going to be very happy. Second pic is the back, which you don't have to put in the gallery, Janice. Wait just a sec and I'll add the pics. It's from Boom 32.

Thank you to Reba for this pretty fabric!
Sewbiz, I love your Bee quilt, I see my block. I love the layout as well, might have to steal it also

My husband is my biggest fan but he's not crazy about Kaffe LOL
SusieQOH, beautiful quilt, I hardly see the bleed. I know pictures don't show us the true color. It is still pretty
