I had a semi-successful day at the Sew-In today. So glad I labled each strip with a sticky note, pinned in place on the strips so I could remember what went where. Then I started to stitch. Wooh, wait there, I need some fabric for the large stars that hold all of the strips together. Didn't bring anything, not one piece. O-o-o-o, there is a give-away table, success! I found a piece of fabric, not great quality but good enough for this quilt that will likely just rest over the back of a chair now and again and not get used much. Cut all the star centers and star legs and returned to the colored strips. Found lots of errors, what was I thinking? Well, I kept at it and now have taken a few baby steps forward to finishing.

When I was looking through my notes, it was from the 2022 Birthday Swap squares. I will press forward later this week and start juggling between our newest Boom and this UFO. Not ready for photos yet. Just a pile of strips and pieces in a project box.

Good news on the mom, Ernie as a snugly nap buddy, and bleeding challenge seems to be under control.

Thank you, Janice for getting the packages ready when you are felling crummy. Work above and beyond the call for any hostess. Now take a rest.
