I now have my block center fabrics cut and paired. I can't quite picture how these are going to work in my existing blocks, but I will soon see.
Very little progress thus far on the pressing of remaining 4-patches.
I have been thinking that this mystery is something of an anomaly, in that I have not seen many successful border variations in quilts of Bonnie's colorway (whereas normally one does see many border adjustments that work well). I've seen attempts to incorporate melon and aqua borders in with the red and neutral, but I don't think they've integrated well. I'm just now starting to think of the borders myself. Since I've essentially eliminated the aqua presence from the sashing block, I thought I might want to add it back in the border, but no real ideas have developed yet. One thing's for sure -- I'm not making more 4-patches!
