Finished attaching the neutral and checkered border. One more to go. I'm going to use a different method than Bonnie's. I did not cut all those squares when she released her clue, but decided to wait on this one to see how they were going to be used. Instead, I will sew several long strips together, white then red then white then red, etc. either 6 or eight and then cut them crosswise to make a border, attaching several together to get the desired length.
Joe's mom - I too have not seen too many border variations that I truly like. I'm going to finish mine like Bonnie's. With the extra row, it will be a good size for me. I will be glad when this one is finished.
