I don’t have any brand new Gutermann thread, so can’t comment about if there was a change in it, but I have used it for years. Where did you purchase your thread? Did you contact them about it? What does the spool look like?
have you tried different needles…almost looks like the hole in your needle might not be the right size? I presume you are hand quilting if using the thread conditioner?
