Sewing room progress
We moved twice in three years, and in the process lost a part of the frame for our quilter. I looked in several places and had almost given up hope when a shop owner in Washington came through for me and shipped me the part. It arrived last week and I spent all day Saturday in the sewing room putting the frame up, organizing, and cleaning. We still want to hang curtains and put some art on the walls but it’s 95% done!
I have a new table for ironing waiting to be assembled, and toolbox on the way. The room has two walk-in closets. One has fabric, and the other has machines, tools, and batting. I’m debating if I want to move a bookshelf in here. There is room behind one of the closet doors. I could have all the books in there, and also stack some decorative stuff like jelly rolls and charm packs. You can see our project list on the big white board. I don’t think we will ever be caught up!
I also have another item on the way. A major splurge that my wife insisted on buying. It was supposed to arrive today but I guess it will be late. That will probably be my next post.
Thanks for looking
