QuiltE, the the 3-patch is still rectangle and with the ruler, it made it much easier to trim it correctly after I finally figured out what they were saying. Was a bit confused with her instructions but finally got it right. Before I trimmed with what I thought they were saying, I'd measure to see what the block would end up at and it was correct. I've been able to now work on getting all the sections together and tomorrow I should be able to start putting the sections together to make a whole quilt. There are 27.5" triangles that go into the corners and I've already thought what I want to quilt in them.
I'm also working on my Cathedral Windows quilt and hopefully I'll have this done this coming week also. Then I'll have no excuse not to go back to the quilt machine and get busy on the quilt that's been attached for almost 2 years. Just found out one of my sweet kitties has been having fun pulling the thread off the spool on the side of the machine. Luckily she/he didn't damage the thread. Lucky for her/him more like it.
