Were the specialty rulers the Drunkard's Path rulers? I've had mine for years still in the package when I found them a couple weeks ago and I decided it was time to try them out or get rid of them. I made 2 oversized lapquilt from them. Curves were out of my comfort zone so I decided I had to try them. I found using Elmer's Glue on the ends and snipping along the curves mad it easier to stitch the 2 sections together. Elmer's Glue washes out and I only put just a tiny little line on the fabric and then heat set it with the iron.
