Sometimes deciding what to make is the most difficult part of the process.
"Whatever you mant to make, dear." Is not helpful.
How about - NOTHING!- because that is what I really want to make/fix!!!
I will have to say after 64 years that he has gotten a bit more flexible about meals. He even cooks now and then.
He will do some of the peeling and chopping- but we do not agree on how it should be done. So "not commenting" while the other one is doing whatever is a good thing.
Stovetop Stuffing and instant mashed potatoes have become my friends.
