When my Grands lived in Nobelsville, I used to drive down 31 which would have put me near you. Small world. The kiddos are now in college, Purdue and Ball State and I don't see them as often as I would like.
I thought I should change the picture because Jolene is 4 1/2 now. I need to get an update. But she’s kinda camera shy.
Those college years take a toll on grandma visits. They suddenly have new best friends. I think mine are all done with college and the ones who joined the Navy, the AirForce, Army and Coastguard are mostly relocated in new cities. Out of 8 grandsons, 5 joined the military. I do have one that lives across the street with his wife and 2 children. I love that! And I’m only about a mile and a half off of Hwy 31.
I am so enjoying this boom as it has been a couple of years since I’ve sewn much of anything. I love looking through the patterns trying to imagine if I could put them together. I have so much fabric to comb through for things to match. I love seeing the blocks everyone is creating for me!
