Quiltmouse, I've pieced all the blocks so far. The curves are gentle enough that it's not a big deal to sew them. However I use make a lot of clothing so I've got experience sewing seams where the pieces are not cut the same. I also tend to avoid PP if possible. I think I'm currently burned out on that, but I need to get back into it and finish my ray quilt.
I see that this week has a dresden plate block. I went through a phase of making all sorts of dresden plates, so that won't be a challenge for me.
Here is a pic of my ray quilt in progress. Have not worked on it since we moved, and keep hoping I'll get motivated to start again. I have the rest of the rays done up to the pink, and need to make the star next. Each star has 8 sections and I need 18 of them.
