I like samplers also but the beauty of this quilt is that I only made one of the blocks. The Boom group here on the Quilting Board made them. I submitted fat 8ths of my focus fabric that is then distributed to everyone participating and they make a block of their choice using my focus fabric. I do the same for them. the blocks using our fabric is then returned to us and we can put them together any way we wish. This is a nice supportive group of quilters who use their blocks in many different ways. Check out the group. It may be something that you would like to give a try in the future. This is my third time and I like it better each time. The commitment is for about 3 months and then there is a break and you can step back or join again.
