Lstew, my Coin quilt was made with yardage but it can be made scrappy too. The border yardage had several repeating rows that I used for the border and between the coin stacks as well as in the stacks. It was an easy first quilt and the instructor taught us to miter corners. I learned how and haven’t done it since. Her name was Peggy and she wrote some quilt books later. Do you think I can remember her last name??? It’s driving me nuts tonight. Peggy Barkle! It just came to me. She wrote Blendable Curves. What a fun woman with tons of knowledge.
