I love this answer, it made me laugh because it is so different from me. I am meticulous at following directions because I lack the imagination and common sense to figure things out for myself.
I have only one rule in quilting -- do what makes me happy.
I have lots of habits and tendencies, but they are not rules, they are just doing what makes me happy.
I am trying to develop another rule, which is, don't overdo it, because I invariably pay for it the next day or the next several days or weeks. But I keep breaking that rule, so I guess I can't call it a rule yet.
