Even though we had been working at it, when it came to the last 6 weeks of living in the old house, we were not really ready to go... but we got gone!
Not much sewing in my plans this weekend. I am still working on organizing/purging the stash I did move and it is getting better all the time! I am looking for my Labyrinth Way pattern -- which I KNOW I have had on this side of the move. I am running out of places to look so might just buy a new one (without the corner that the cat chewed on for whatever reason he had). Of course, as soon as I order a new one the old one will fall on my head. I have 3 out of 4 fabrics for that project, looking for the perfect medium dark. Have great light, medium light, and dark... but need the right choice to get the 3D effect. There is a small chance I will drive the 45 minutes or so to my favorite "local" store today, but probably next week as I have an appointment this afternoon.
This past week I did wash two backs. Need to press the seam on one and find the seam correction on the front of that project. The other I need to double check my available width (should have plenty). When I did my prewash, I dried it just a tiny bit too much and found when I was pressing that one edge has a slight printing problem, random little folds/pookies along the selvedge with no dye. Will be easy enough to fix with about a 1" seam. Is a smallish check/plaid (like a 1" grid) and I will be matching the design just because it will be easy enough to do.
For those that celebrate, happy Easter!
