As I finished one of my UFOs from 4-5 years ago but just haven't taken any photos of it. Also finished a couple kitty quilts but ran out of binding so having to make more to finish them. The large quilt that goes with the kitty quilts will be put on the frame this weekend as soon as I add pieces to the sides to make it wide enough as it's 107x107 and my backing was only 108" but I did order 3.5yds so took off the bottom to add to the sides. Then wouldn't you know it, I found another backing I had ordered that would have been large enough. Hate when things like that happen but what the heck, I'd already chopped off the bottom and pinned the sides to stitch sometime this weekend. This is "man's sewing (Rob) burst block pattern and I have no idea how I'm going to quilt it as yet. It will be somewhat custom though. I used 25 different batik fabrics with a zebra background fabric as she loves zebras. I also have 3 throw pillow covers made with embroidered zebra designs, a different design on each one. The kitty quilts were just large scraps leftover from the burst blocks so nothing went to waste on these quilts.

So that's what I'll be doing this weekend as it's going to be chilly and windy around here in Iowa again so might as well make use of it in the sewing room.
