Ashley, I helped at a local fair--just laying out the quilts for judging and then refolding or putting aside to be hung. But I learned so much!! A judge who is willing to take the time to offer gentle constructive criticism and point out the positive, is worth her weight in fabric!! I enjoy entering the local fairs. The prize money is peanuts but the ribbons sure are pretty. I am always amazed at the wealth of talent in our small community.
