Losing a four-footed family member is not easy, no matter what anyone says. This loss is probably doubly hard because it reminds you of your father's passing too. What a blessing to have a spouse that is caring for you when you are in sad times. Try to enjoy your weekend away, even if just a little.

Two projects this long weekend. # 1 Finish a graduation quilt for a fisherman, nephew.. #2 Create a kabillion, OK, maybe 20+ Wonky Star blocks using my 2.5" squares from the Birthday Swap. I need a minimum of 39 more but dream of making it larger. I shall see after a long weekend of cutting flipping, stitching and pressing.
