If I was young and had lots of laundry to do for the family I would buy the Speed Queen to last. At my age I don't really care about how long an appliance will last. Our clothes do not get dirt dirty anymore and I don't have enough unwashed laundry that keeps the washer going constantly. Buying a good washer that works for a reasonable cost is more logical for my needs.
