I understand why they changed it to a Monday so folks that still work can have a 3 day vacation/weekend. But when they started combining presidents's birthdays, that got my goat. They also haven't changed Thanksgiving but give them time, I'm sure they'll find an excuse to change it also.
I don't celebrate any of the holidays myself and my sister will make the special dinner on a Sunday for me, she's so nice to me.
