I used to be more of a stickler for holiday celebrations, and didn't like all the changes. However, as time has gone on, and our family has expanded, we have had to accept that with 2 sons, 2 daughter-in-laws and grands that are almost 23 and 19, something had to give. Luckily, by pure coincidence, both my DIL's happen to come from the same town out of state. They try to time holidays so they and DS's are gone at the same time. I just feel fortunate that we can find time to all be together. Think I draw the line on some changes though. Christmas, and New Year, 4th of July, Halloween, Valentine's and St. Patrick's day should be set in stone!!
