Before I go further, I do wish to reaffirm my commitment to buying only needed fabric. When I can get these good deals it does allow me to share and be generous with what I have, but I really will need to use/distribute this in a timely manner. I ask myself can I see using (whatever it is) within 5 years.
We got out there just after opening today. Closeout had started last week but we hadn't heard about it. Store was maybe already 75% empty?? including all wide backs were gone. Still a couple hundred bolts left, I'd say they will be basically picked clean by the end of the day. The wide backs had been priced at $15/bolt, with all other bolts at $10. If it was too skinny/not much left they encouraged you to bundle two smalls for the price of one.
I got two mostly full bolts of white/yellow batiks. I have lots of yellows and oranges to use, these give contrast and/or backs. I'd guesstimate these were probably about 8-10 yards on each bolt.
Mostly I got Blacks and Grays. One of the (modern) grays was skinny, so I have a Civil War gray to make up for it.
The hubby was taken by a Orange/Red 70s sort of influence... I said I don't know what I would do with it, but sure, we can get those. Again, small amounts left, maybe 6 yards between the two bolts??
Two pictures of the same stack rearranged some... the gray stone/brick looks to be a full bolt with 18 yards listed on the label! It is darker in person, the one under it is a basically textured black.
So I think $100 for ~100 yards of fabric
