Yes, I am planning to do the borders as designed because I've already made the pieces and darned if they're going to waste. I have noticed, though, from observing on Bonnie's Facebook page, that plain borders on this quilt look really good, too. Once I finish the half and quarter blocks, I'm planning to get my triangle borders together, then I'll start constructing the top.
