I sorted, carefully, sorted what I brought home yesterday and some of it is going back. It is garment fabric, it has more than acceptable stretch, not good for a quilt back. When I looked at it, it was all folded up and I did not unfold. Low and behold it had a "T" shaped cut in it as if it were to be used for a costume. Maybe for a shepherd costume for a Christmas play. Nope, it doesn't leave enough for a backing.
Total yardage less than three yards. Most of that will be used for a donation quilt backing. Good for my stash but not so good for me. I will need to keep looking for backings.
