JaneSmith, I like the suggestion by Lena. Count the finishes to feel success. I had quite a pile but over the past two years, yes, years, I have whittled down the total to less than 10, I think. Now, I try to not create any UFO's as I finish the pile. I like the process of creating the quilt top much more than the actually quilting so it is easy to create UFOs that only need quilting and a binding. Yup, straight line quilting for me particularly on donation quilts. Quick easy and over time and a kaboodle of UFO's so I have gotten pretty good at it. I also like to do random wavy lines on some quilts just because I can and again it is quick and doesn't require accuracy. So glad to have you aboard.
