Ok, vinyl planking in most rooms. Blow off the tile completely. Slippery completely when wet and not a selling feature. The bedrooms carpet but the same color in each and every room. No one wants mixed colors especially if they are on the same floor. I sold homes, high end ones and mixed makes everyone go .. huh??? or what the heck where they thinking? Uniformity is probably your biggest bonus. Then are you doing this for you or for resale in a short period of time? If its for you why not do what you want and the DH, sorry.. but.. who is doing the cleaning? I always say if you want to clean it.. I end up being the sole cleaner in my home so I tend to go with what makes me happiest. Bedrooms however, when you first get up.. its nice to have warmth under your toes.
