I waste too much time staring at my finished tops. Rather than going on to the backing, batting, etc I stare at it trying to decide if it is perfect. Does a seam need adjusting? Was that border just a bit short? I keep running thing in my head, until I'm satisfied it looks OK. I just redid the top right corner of the baby quilt I'm working on, because I did not "like" the way it looked. Took out all the seams, and adjusted the border. Seemed to satisfy my whirling mind, so now I'm almost done with hand sewing the binding.
Not sure how to turn that off, because I know that most of my perceived imperfections look fine to 99% of anyone who is looking at it!
