I have ceramic tile in my kitchen and HATE it. It is hard to keep the grout clean. We have a 9 month old grandbaby living with us and the food she drops is a real pain to get off. We all wear our shoes in the house because it is so hard it hurts our feet.
We have beige carpet in the living/family room. Let me just say I am glad I have my own carpet shampooer. I miss my wood floors from my previous house.
