I have off white carpet upstairs int he hallway and bedrooms and when one of my kitties decides to barf a hairball, I clean it up as best I can, then literally pour peroxide over the spot. I had to do this the other day and just took a look at it this morning and it's gone with no damage to the carpet. I also add it to my carpet shampoo machine when I go to clean the spots when I have enough to pull the machine out. My sister sprays it on whites that have gotten a few stains or that yellow stain under the armpit and it seems to do the trick. Of course you'd need a lot of perixode for how much fabric you're talking about.
